Alejandrina RIOS BENABE [45290]
General Notes:
1. I have been researching "Alejandrina Rios-Benabe" for some time. I have made some connection thru these attached documents. My father often talked about his cousin "Didin" who was at one time the Mayor of Luquillo. I have found that Enrique Rios was living in 1910 with his mother Dominga Rios. In the 1920 census he is married to Juana Rosario Benabe-Jimenez. He is born in 1890 and in the 1920 census he adds "Garcia". We know from many documents that the mother is Dominga Rios who had children with Santiago Garcia. I don't believe they were legally married.I still don't have the documentation to show the "Garcia" connection but I'm working on it. Enrique Rios married to Juana Rosario Benabe-Jimenez. Alejandrina is one of their offspring's. You have one of the siblings listed in your website. Enrique's sister Cristina (Garcia)Rios had a son Augustin Rios-Garcia, born in 1922, who lived in the Bronx, and served in the Korean war. He is buried here at the Long Island Veteran's cemetery. We used to visit him and his wife (Edna) in the Bronx when I was little. [Olga Garcia-Mikhail [olgagm@optonline.net]
